We make so many decisions over a lifetime. Some turn out to be unimportant...and some turn out to be the key to everything. If we only knew their significance at the time.

Cardinal Caravan

For those of you that don't know, Grace is a CMN Kid...Children's Miracle Network Kid. They have helped us in the past with a remolding helmet and physical therapy costs when we were dealing with Grace's torticollis (we are still dealing with it, but there isn't any interventions that can be done at this time). We try to participate in as much as we can with CMN. We are gearing up for the CMN Every Family Campaign too. Anyway, we were invited to attend the St. Louis & Springfield Cardinal's Caravan as they were coming through Springfield. Chris was pretty excited about us going, because Jess Todd, a former Arkansas Razorback Pitcher who now plays for the Springfield Cardinals, was going to be there. Chris wouldn't be there until later, but fortunately Grandpa & Grandma Replogle came along to help me entertain Grace. For the most part she kept herself pretty entertained with sitting in as many seats in Weiser Gym on the campus of Drury University! Right before the signing, Grace had decided to park herself at the signing table with the other players, but Mommy had to stay there with her! While one of the players were speaking Chris walked in...Grace saw him and then proceeded to shout Daddy to him across the gym and ran to him full speed ahead! I have to admit it was pretty cute!

Grace & Jess Todd
He signed her baseball for her or should we say for Daddy!
